Great place to take the kids in a unique, cheap place to see animals of the Pacific Northwest. They have touch tanks with a wide many organisms such as starfish. There are also crabs, anemones, jellyfish, and microscopes to see plankton. The volunteers are very ready to help and answer questions.

Five bucks to enter this micro aquarium was probably the best value for money I got the whole trip. Several touch pools and a few tanks show a sample of the sea life in the straight. The volunteers are what really put this place over the top. They were very engaged and eager so share knowledge about the animals and the local ecology. Their enthusiasm was a blast and we stayed for much longer than you would expect a little place like this would keep us.

Feiro Marine Life Center is the heart and the face of public marine science in Port Angeles. With a dedicated and knowledgeable staff and team of volunteer docents, Feiro is a must-do for residents and visitors. Spend time at the touch tanks observing local marine life and touching creatures including sea anemones. Experiment with the large Elwha River working dam model. Visit the other creatures from those under the microscope to bigger specimens in large tanks. Kids love to spend time at the sand play table and one of the most fun things to do is celebrate birthday parties at the Marine Life Center! Don't miss the copper art inside and out by local artist Clark Mundy!

Nice short visit! The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The kids (and adults) enjoyed touching the sea life. Lots to see in a small space.
