I'm never disappointed! Everything is beyond good. First off, the grits. They are the real-deal. Then the cornbread to whet your meal. OH MY. Big glasses of tea (southern or plain). The food. OH MY. Beyond expectations. They put a nice home twist on it all! Service? Outstanding. Price? Fantastic. Reward club? An added bonus. If you leave hungry, it's your fault. From breakfast to lunch -- a great place to hang your hat and have a good home cooked meal. Why are you reading this -- get up and go right now!

If you love Soul Food, Felix's is the place to go. They have catfish, ribs(Pork and Beef) that is out of this world. They also have greens, cabbages, black eye peas, candies yam, and mac and cheese that will make your stomach ask for more. :):) and other great foods that also. These are some of thing I like to eat while I'm at Felix's. So come out and select your favor foods to eat there or just take it home an enjoy it.

Our group of four had dinner at at Felix's last Saturday night.  We had made reservations, and were seated promptly.  

They started us out with complimentary corn bread - I guess I'd call them muffins - that was delicious.  Our server Daniel made some recommendations, and we went with the Cajun pasta (x2), the pulled chicken sandwich, and the beef brisket.  Sides included mac and cheese and red beans.

The beef brisket was a tad spicy, but was also incredibly tender and tasty.  I am told the pulled chicken, which is topped with cole slaw, was delicious.  My son and I both had the Cajun pasta.  We both thought it was excellent, although I found it to be spicier than I expected.

Our server Daniel was awesome.  He took the time to explain some menu items, and he was quite funny as well.

I'm surprised they haven't done a better job developing a vibe, as far as how the restaurant is decorated.  They have a great menu, and the food is great, but the restaurant itself is fairly "blah."

That said, we'll be back.  The food and service were both very good.

One of my favorites places to dine in Oceanside! Great food, staff, pricing & ambiance! Anytime I have family or friends in town, I take them here to dine. To date, EVERY single one has thoroughly enjoyed Felix's which is saying a lot considering several are in the dining business themselves! The "icing on the cake" whenever Felix Berry's is onsite is his personal interaction with his customers! They LOVE it!!!

The food at Felix's is always delicious, service is great and from time to time if you are lucky, they have live music. In all the times that I have ate at Felix's, I have never been disappointed with the food, especially the catfish nuggets, they are delicious, never greasy and always cooked wonderful. Their fried shrimp appetizer is also so delicious as well. Service is fast and you don't have to wait very long at all, the wait staff is very courteous and always ensuring you have enough drinks and anything else you might ask for. If you have not been there, then I suggest you go!
