I absolutely loved my flowers for my wedding. I asked if I could add some antique jewelry to my cascading bouquet and Michaela found a way to make it beautiful beyond my expectations. My bouquet was beautiful and all of my bridesmaids were overjoyed over the quality of their bouquets. The boutonnieres for the guys were well matched and beautiful as well. Thank you for being a part of our special day!

I always call and patronize the Felthousen's in Cohoes. But for 30 plus years, we've ordered flowers, we've purchased gifts in the store and pieces for our home. We are always pleased. I would definitely recommend to my friends and family

I, mother of the groom, discovered Felthousen's Florist on Wedding Wire, where my interest was piqued by its high rating from many reviewers. Unlike others, Felthousen's website provided indicative pricing on basic items like boutonnieres, corsages, small and large centerpieces, plus a “typical wedding floral price.” This initial information enabled me to begin comparing florists and narrow my choices for further evaluation. Mark Felthousen, proprietor, answered the phone when I called a year before the event. He was my most reliable go-to-person ever since. Given that my DIL lives in DC, I live in Boston, and the wedding venue was Lake George, NY, the bulk of our communications were conducted by phone and email. Mark was extremely knowledgeable about his business and patiently devoted a considerable time answering my questions and educating me. It didn't take me long to decide that Mark was the person that I would like to engage. In order to conserve my DIL’s time, I coordinated and emailed Mark images of what she favored and envisioned for her wedding day. Mark dutifully noted all details and offered valuable suggestions and advice as we honed in on the particulars of our engagement. All the florists I approached asked me for my budget from the outset. Recognizing that the dollar amount was a function of flower selections and quantities, I was hard-pressed to come up with a number initially. After much back and forth and coming to appreciate the bride's vision and theme, I was able to develop a realistic budget. Mark's prices were very fair, and he conscientiously strived to stay within my budget. To the extent possible and acceptable to my DIL, Mark offered many seasonal alternatives to achieve the overall effect reflected in her pictures. When I found accessory items that the bride appreciated and which turned out to be less costly than if supplied by the florist, Mark encouraged me to purchase them. He was most professional and accommodating throughout the engagement. My DIL and I met Mark in Schenectady a few months before the wedding, for which he produced an impressively beautiful tall centerpiece sample and a most attractive low centerpiece, both of which my DIL loved to Mark’s and my delight! We were fortunate that there was sufficient time between the end of the church ceremony and the beginning of the reception venue, for Mark was able to arrange for his helper, the amazingly capable Catherine, to transfer the tall floral arrangements and pew decorations from the church to repurpose in the reception courtyard and ballroom together with the other centerpieces ordered. I cannot say enough about how pleased my DIL, I, and our guests were with the flowers, many of which our guests were delighted to take home from the event. I would not hesitate to recommend Mark Felthousen to any bride who is looking for a fabulous florist capable to realize her vision for her wedding day!

I live in Miami and wanted to order something special for my mother who was returning from visiting us. I was able to schedule the delivery for the same day (despite heading into a hectic Mother's Day weekend). The shop called me because I had written in my note to my mom that I wanted to give her a bouquet of orchids. The owner informed me that she did not have one particular orchid but would have in tomorrow and could deliver then. Unfortunately that not being possible, she offered to substitute with extra purple orchids and roses. Very thoughtful, thorough service! The flowers were on the front porch for my mother when she got home from the airport. She called me crying, telling me it was the most beautiful bouquet she had ever seen or received. Very happy with the entire transaction and highly recommend this shop if you are in the Albany area or sending a gift to someone there.
