This is a big disappointment, rude, disrespectful and unprofessional customer service. Lack of attention and detail completely disgusted by the employees behavior. The two lady serving the food need training on how to prepare a plate of food.  The food was the same as the employee’s behavior, lack of taste, the rice was sappy and wet. The oxtail had no taste and it’s $17.50 plus tax a plate. Absolutely will not go back nor ever recommend this restaurant to anyone .  I bought about 80 dollars worth of food plus drinks and tipped the workers and their attitude did not change. Just another disappointment.

Just stumbled across this place running some errands around the North Fort Lauderdale/Tamarac area. 5 stars for food and speed! Compared to Dutch pot the process to get your food is much quicker and attentive staff. Yes saying something to people as they enter your business goes a long way…  I will be back for more lunch specials! Includes a free drink for under $10!

Went to this location because of the lunch special and gosh they gave me half a piece of chicken. Like come on i am paying around $8 for half a piece of thigh and half spoon of rice? Do better!! The customer service is terrible you have a lady there that just makes up her face. The rice is soft and soggy. If you want to waste money come here! Again how they treat their workers is terrible. Very unprofessional business.

My first time visiting this restaurant. From the very 1st bite, I knew this restaurant was gonna be one of my favorite. The food is so delicious and taste like it’s right from Jamaica. Eating this meal on my lunch break made me feel like I was in my home land. I had the jerk chicken lunch special, so flavorful and tender. I can’t wait to try other foods from the menu.

I am pleasantly surprised. Normally don’t order food on a Sunday but i wasn’t feeling well so i took a chance. Very hard to get good island food East. This place is a winner. Fish was flavorful, not overdone and i got an extra juice. Fresh fruit juice. .

First time today and the food was very delicious & tasty. Veggie in the meal was not soggy, just perfect! The staff is very courteous and I also like the ambience,  so I will definitely return to try more food. #mynewfoodplace

I was tired of the same old fast food so I looked for something different. I decided to check out the Fern Gully Grill. There was only one employee there and she was super friendly. I picked up some jerk pork, rice and peas, cabbage and plantains. Got a fried chicken rice and peas for my son. The food was excellent. I will 100% be going back again and again. Thank you ma'am for the wonderful dinner. My son enjoyed it as well.

I decided to try all lunch specials. I loved the jerk chicken as it was actually grilled on a charcoal grill. Fried chicken was well seasoned and crispy..I got a new batch at the restaurant. Curry chicken was good and brown chicken was okay I'm not a big fan of it. They give you alot of food for price point rice  . The rice and peas were soft but not mushy. Just a suggestion ease up on the water for a firmer rice and peas. 5.99 is just a great deal. I will be back at this location.
