My wife and kids and I love Fern Resort.  It is like having a cottage but everything is taken care of for you.  The staff are friendly and helpful.  The kid's programs are great and give the parents/grandparents some  'me time' as well.  The food is excellent.  You can choose to do as little or as much as you want.  The evening entertainment is top notch as well. We have visited summer and winter and year round it is a great place for the family.

The rooms are well equipped and very comfortable. Amenities for days! On property 5 hole golf course, batting cage, trails for hiking, pools, sauna, on site spa, vintage style games room complete with old cabinet video games, you name it. Wonderful staff who are super friendly and great service. Thus would be a fantastic place for a family vacation. The only thing I don't know is if it's pet friendly, but I'd have to guess that they are. Great experience.

Fern resort is a great family resort. Lots of fun activities for people of all ages. We've been in the summer and come every year and Thanksgiving, and plan to continue going for the foreseeable future.

My family had the joy of staying at Fern this weekend, and we had a blast! We wish we could have stayed longer. We have 2 children under 2, and the facilities are incredible for kids of all ages. Don't miss this gem!

This incredible family resort had plenty of activites for the whole family including a walking trail, game room, indoor and outdoor pool, basketball and hockey, trampolines and SO much more. It's sit down three course meals which are included are some of the most delicious meals I've eaten on vacation. The staff is super friendly and won't hesitate to go above and beyond for their guests. The rooms are clean and comfortable with beautiful views of the lake it sits on. It's open year round so there's always something to do in every season.
