Avoid dealing with these people at all costs. They had a listing for rent/purchase on their web page and when we called about it they couldn't find it in their system. We had to wait for them to call us back because they are clearly too unorganized. After they found what listing it was we called them several times over the course of 3-4 weeks. They said someone else was interested but they couldn't get the check to them until half way through the following month. We told them if we viewed it and liked it we would have the check for first months rent and whatever security deposit they wanted in hand right then and there. They put us off until the other folks got the money in. Oh and then claimed they had tried calling us and leaving us a message, which they never did. They don't want your business, so don't give it to them.

Extremely disappointed in how we were treated when recently looking into a rental property through Fesette. We spent several weeks trying to get a hold of someone to schedule a viewing of the property we were interested in (calling and leaving messages multiple times, no return calls or messages). We had the money ready to pay the FIRST day we called if we liked the property after viewing it (Friday, November 17th, 2017). Several of our calls were not answered at all and we received no messages / calls back from the person we were put in contact with. The first time we spoke with someone (November 20th) , they said they would call us back later that day or the next to schedule a viewing before Thanksgiving. We never heard from them until we called again twice more after Thanksgiving and the weekend following. We were told "someone else is interested and they are trying to come up with the money" the first and second time we actually reached and spoke with someone (out of the six or more times we tried to call and schedule). After many unanswered calls we again finally spoke with someone on Dec. 1st - we were ready to view the property that day but were denied. We were again told we could be called back the following week to set something up, but did not accept and finally got someone to commit to a day and time for a viewing of the property on Dec. 5th! We received no messages, calls or notification that December 1st, after we had spoken with someone and set up our viewing for Dec. 5th, that someone else had put down a deposit that evening. I am incredibly disappointed that we were eluded and put off for weeks until someone else got the property, when we could have viewed and payed MID NOVEMBER! TERRIBLE SERVICE AND BUSINESS!

Everyone at Fesette Realty was very professional and went above and beyond to help my family with our move to the area. I was Amazed at how well I was taken care of by Karen Gosnell. Coming from out of state and working a new job our family was under a lot of stress to make this move as smooth as possible and Mrs. Gosnell went out of her way to explain to me about buying a house in New York and took extra time to tell me about the area. She was very patient with me as I was Face timing my wife during the showings. I have recommended Fesette realty (Mrs Gosnell) to everyone that asked me who I used to buy our home here in Plattsburgh, I will continue to say if they want the best go with Fesette! Everyone I have meet at the office especially Karen Gosnell and Neil Fesette made my family feel like part of the community already, and welcomed us to the area. That's important to us, feeling taken care of when we had so much to deal with in 2 states, Karen offered more help then any other Realtor we have ever worked with. Without question they will do more to help out your family find a PLACE TO CALL HOME!!!!

I will start off by stating that I highly recommend Fesette Realty! My wife and I recently had a great experience with Fessette Realty, and specifically Karen Gosnell. This is our second time working with Karen, she helped us purchase our first home in 2009. We can say with all levels of certainty that Karen is a phenomenal agent. We have had an absolutely positive and incredible experience working with Karen. Karen was professional, thorough, transparent, and incredibly understanding and realistic. Karen took the time to listen to our needs, give directions and insight, and provide an overall pleasurable experience. We had the difficult task of buying and selling a home at the same time. I am sure many agents would not have anywhere near the patience Karen had with us. On all levels I can confidently say Karen was amazing. I can not emphasize this enough, we had a great experience on both ends of this deal and I genuinely believe this was because of Karen Gosnell!

I am not sure what America is coming to but back in the day a handshake and or a verbal commitment was all you needed to make a deal. Nowadays apparently even a signed (by both parties) contract is not enough when buying a home. I want to thank Fesette Realty for swindling us out of the home that my family and I were looking forward to living in. Not only that but also not reimbursing us the $350 we spent getting the home inspected. I do business in Plattsburgh and will confidently say I would never stoop to these kinds of shady, unethical business practices just to earn a few extra bucks. I implore everyone I know to think long and hard before they do business with Fesette Realty.
