This isn't the 1st time we have visited this place. Let me tell you, this is a very nice and relaxing place to eat. We have sat both in the bar area and regular seating and both areas are very nice. The wait staff are engaging and pleasant to work with. So, let's talk food. Every time we have come her, and I mean every time, we have had excellent food. I have ordered several different items off their menu and every item I have ordered has been excellent in taste and presentation. The portions are huge. This last time we went there, we had so much food left over that we had 2 additional meals at home that following week. The prices we very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Well worth the trip if you want an eastern Missouri relaxed dining experience.

Not as good as I remember the last time I ate here years ago. The pulled pork tasted processed and the fries were chewy and gummy. My pint of beer was refreshing and the service was good.

Five of us stopped in for lunch at noon on a Thursday. The restaurant was busy but we had zero wait for a table. The menu is quite extensive so there are lots of choices. Everyone ordered something different and all of us thought the food was quite tasty. Prices are reasonable but service was just okay.

Easygoing all purpose diner plus bar. Good daily specials. Considerable variety in its menu from simple to very filling options. I ordered lemon butter flavored chicken piccata over pasta. It had about a full cup of butter that after finishing your food, you could see the remaining half cup or more of it coagulating in the plate at the end of the meal while the other half was likely clogging my arteries. However, the taste was great (anything will taste good with all that butter). BTW no piccata flavors. My partner's simple fruit and cottage cheese presented a visually nice combination. Service was great with the server checking on us multiple times without being obtrusive. Overall a satisfying but not memorable experience.

Great place! Food was hot, tasted good and looked good when first presented to us. The restaurant was clean and well kept. It's refreshing to find such a good quality place to eat.
