This is a car campground that doesn't have much of a view, though the drive up is beautiful. The spaces are tight and hard to maneuver around do to all the wooded barriers. There are a few restrooms, but no water, so bring plenty. There will also be a $35 fee per night charged by a third-party agency that is not part of the forestry service. It is easy to get to, but it can be crowded during the Summer....not worth it unless you like to car camp. Not much room for trailers/rv's

Great views if you take a small walk away from your site. Nice and secluded area.

Campground was immaculate and well looked after but the flies and Mosquitos were unbearable. Couldn't even sleep there for a night, had to leave. Really bad place to go during summer.

Lots of flies, very hot in the summer. Looks like a nice place if the weather wasn't so warm! I recommend driving on to Davy Brown, where the kids can play in the creek in the warm weather.

Thr campground is higher up than Davy Brown so it gets way more wind. The camphost was welcoming and helpful. The sites are well maintained, clean bathrooms, adequate space between each site. I did not spend the night, only day hiking, but explored for another time. I would definitely recommend this place.
