What should've been my last stop of the evening before I found out how lame the bars in Jersey are. More of a cocktail bar, they had a decent selection of craft brews. The mango IPA had me daydreaming of a return trip to Appalachicola. As I had a half hour drive, I only stuck around for one beer. Out of all the bars I visited, this was the only place that seemed like a singles bar. Next time I come back I'll have to test that theory.
10/10 experience. Came to Philly on a girls trip and came here every night we were in town. The service is amazing, Matthew, Paul and James were a lot of fun and make awesome shots/drinks. The bar gives a sports bar/dive/irish pub feel. Great atmosphere. Right in the Center City area so super convenient location if you’re staying around there, or in that area for the evening. The food we tried was delicious truffle fries and onion rings We have the Philly Spring Roles on our “to get” list. The peach mango cider was SO good and the spearhead ? I think, was quite a few drinks in at this point IPA was also very good. Overall we had such a great time, with great service, conversation and drinks/food. If we make our way to Philly we’ll definitely be back to our “home” bar. Thanks guys!!
We came after the holiday season so there was no lines or cover. It was a great time! The decorations are top notch and the drinks were tasty and strong!
We continued our Christmas-themed Tuesday afternoon bar crawl at Finn McCool's Ale House in downtown Philadelphia. The Christmas theme and decorations were excellent, but the drinks were rather pricy, and they didn't serve any food. Make sure you stop in for some great pictures and maybe a boozy hot chocolate, and you can keep the mug, but move on quickly to Philly's other Christmas-themed bars!
Food decent. Friendly employees. Good atmosphere. My complaint is on my drink diet pepsi... I'm a non-drinker and my soda had a slight tint of alcohol.Food: 5/5
Food is phenomenally great. Drinks are awesome and the Guinness is spot on cold. Service is awesome. So much fun
Food was great. Service was outstanding. Wasn’t very busy on a cool Wednesday in April. Reds were beating the Phillies so that’s an extra plus.Food: 5/5
Stopped in with friends for a quick drink. Great spot that serves food. Bartender at night was awesome on 3/18/24.Service: 5/5
They have a decent beer list and excellent cheesesteak spring rolls.
Had the best roast beef sandwich of my life! Nice bar. Good place to go if you are looking for a sports bar with better than ok bar food
