We bought fresh shrimp and also ate lunch in the restaurant. The service was Outstanding!!! The food was sooo delicious! Cooked and seasoned perfectly!!
The best seafood I've ever had!!! I got the seafood boil and crab cakes so delicious, fresh, and perfectly cooked.Food: 5/5
The seafood was seasoned good as ordered, and the environment was pleasant also. They work good together. I bought some seasonings and a few frozen items as well.! I've been missing the crawfish and hopefully I'll get some soon along with some ground mullet Features: Everything was in order.
OMG! This place is phenomenal! From the food to the service! This family owned little restaurant is a must go to! We stopped here while traveling On our way back to Texas. We were made to feel so welcomed. This place is definitely a family affair. The catfish strips, are fried to perfection, as well as the fried shrimp. The gumbo was amazing. The tartar sauce was to die for. We will definitely be back when traveling through Laurel.
Passing thru town, heading back to Texas we stopped into a small little restaurant with delicious, fresh fish and shrimp. And the gumbo was amazing too! We really enjoyed our lunch. Thank you all!!
I had e-z peel mild boiled shrimp and it was excellent. I will go back and I do recommend it. To me they were seasoned just right. Not too hot but just enough to have a kick to it. The fries were good too. Everything I saw looked great. I can't wait to try other things there.
I got the boiled shrimp plate . My shrimp was still raw . I didn’t mind having to wait over a hour for my food but the only thing that was fresh and hot was my husband fried shrimp plate he ordered. I want be back for a while. I boiled the shrimp in a pot myself to finish cooking them just upset me priced I payed and the wait I still had to wait longer to eat and fix my own food.:
Had a lunch today... Terrible.. never had food this bad for $42.00 in my life.... except for the young lady with behind the register... she had Class... Do not go to this place... it is a ripoff
Kind of disappointing! I’ve read so many great reviews but today was definitely not their best day! I ordered the soft shell crab and it was fried in the shell but soggy. Blan taste and full of some chalky yellow stuff that I’m pretty sure was not cleaned properly! The fries and the potato salad were both nasty! The corn was cooked but no seasoning not even in the tons of butter! The sweet tea was the best thing I had and I’m praying they were just having a off day.
I'm not a fan of ordering at the counter as opposed to table service, but that won't keep me from going back. All in all the food and service was good. I had a bowl of Seafood Gumbo, with a half dozen fried shrimp, and an order of Boudin Balls not house made, but straight out of Beaux Bridge, La.. The Gumbo was OK, but nothing spectacular, the Shrimp were typical fried Shrimp, and the star of the show was the Boudin Balls, though as simple as they are to make, I would have preferred house made. The warmed up ends of French Bread should have been used to make croutons or tossed as opposed to being served as the bread/toast with the meal. If you find yourself in Laurel, Mississippi and are craving seafood, then I'd definetly swing by Fins. I'm looking forward to trying their Etoufee on my next visit there.
