I'm torn. The sandwiches are actually really, really good, but it takes forever to get in and out of this place. The first time my husband and I came here (about a year ago) we were second in line but it took almost an hour (not exaggerating) to get our two sandwiches. We didn't go back until a week or so ago because it took so long. Last week we were first in line,  ordered four sandwiches, and it took probably 30-35 minutes. That's definitely better than an hour, but I'm not sure how a sandwich can take that long to make? Don't get me wrong, the food is good and the people working there are really nice, just expect to wait a few.

New York Steamer is our favorite.  My wife and I have been here several times and it is now our favorite sub shop in town.  The place is fun for kids and my wife loved the glass fire hydrant shaped BBQ sauce bottles.  I really like the sauce, it isn't overly sweet like many others.

Gonna agree with a lot of other reviews here that the food is good, but pricey for the size! Last time i went here the person taking our order seemed to be in a bad mood and was quite short with me, which put me in a bad mood too! (Literally threw my sandwiches down on the table even though i was nothing but polite to them! Hey don't take it out on me just because you're having a bad day! 👎it made me never want to come back just to avoid ever seeing them again, despite enjoying the food!)

Price's to high 4 tiny samwich i could get a footlong at Subway for the same amount as a small sandwich definitely  tastes better but still... Also rude cashier wish i would have gotten their name. Rest of staff was chill.

So let me preface this by saying I'm a vegetarian. Firehouse Subs is not great for vegetarians. The selection and the food I'm sure it's all good for other people but for me they can make one sandwich. I'll go somewhere else.
