Food is very good, much better than most fast sub locations. I personally enjoy the meatball sub, nice large meatballs with lots of sauce and the cheese holds it all together. The service is very polite and professional, all around a great choice for your next meal.Food: 4/5
Conveniently located on the corner of the plaza across the shopping malls on Transit, their unique brand and logo stands out among the many stores located there. When we walked into the store, we immediately saw all the really cool firehouse signs, pictures, quotes and it really set the mood for us while eating there. Everyone greeted us, was polite and when the food came out it looked absolutely delicious. I was rushing to eat such good looking subs that I didn’t great pictures but it was definitely worth it especially for the price. They wasted no time in getting this to us. The cheese in both subs melted into the toasted bread and gave a really nice gooey texture to it. The meatball went down especially well bite after bite, making me crave for more. Even the pickle tasted really good; not too sour, not overly soaked in water. Friendly/fast service, amazing atmosphere, this is definitely a new favorite go-to spot. Amazing place!!
I love firehouse subs and how they give back to firemen. I’m a part of their rewards program. When I had a free small sub coupon the manager gave me a disgusted look and said now he’s out of money because it didn’t work in the register.. I don’t understand how that is on me and my fault. I haven’t experienced that much rudeness from a restaurant in awhile. I don’t even know if I want to go back. Also the sub was not a small it was less than an inch long. I honestly am not one to complain I just remembered why I don’t go here anymore. Going out is a luxury for me because everything is so expensive now. Just a little disappointing… it’s on the owner to correct the register/computer problem not me… I felt very awkward and disrespected.
Very nice Hot Sub. Perfect for a frigid WNY day. Busy place, but efficiently run. We got our food quickly. Worth every penny and my almost 3 Million followers should definitely try FIREHOUSE SUBS. Go here!
I don’t go to FH subs as often as I’d like to. Took em up on their Monday meatball special. Was a great sub at a good price. Parking: Busy area, shared lot.. but able to find a spot just fine

Really phenomenal hot subs here, so glad this chain has made its way to Buffalo! A Hook & Ladder sub always hits the spot!They also fundraise and donate hundreds of thousands of dollars to the local fire departments, which is a really great cause! FYI, small subs are very small, and the larges are somewhat large, so the medium is pretty much a normal meal portion, though it might be a little light without a side. Dietary restrictions: Offers gluten free rolls
I have been going to this location as well as the mile strip location for YEARS and both locations never fail me !! Always good food with great service and clean locations to eat in. The owner is an awesome guy who goes out of his way to make sure every customer is satisfied. Will continue to support them as long as they are around.Food: 5/5
