LOVE the church, but the Weekday Early Education program is not up to par. The teachers are not friendly, and the program director, Kathy Ingram is so RUDE!!!! After a family friend left the school, she told me there is mold growing on the walls in the classrooms that was causing her son to stay sick everyday, but no one did anything about it. Tuition is outrageous, and the children are not even served breakfast in the morning. And the lunch is disgusting. Children constantly stay sick with illnesses in the classrooms due to lack of cleanliness. Do not waste your time or money!!!!! You would think the MILLIONS of dollars this church makes a year, that it would partially benefit the weekday education and provide them with better care, clean classrooms and healthy food everyday!!!

First Baptist is a very inclusive church with a "big tent" for young and old, people of many ethnic and foreign backgrounds, and all races. It's an amazing place to worship with traditional and contemporary services, a broad mission outreach to the community and many fine educational programs. You will not find finer church music anywhere. And best of all, they love God, love people and share that love in a nonjudgmental way. We have found a loving home in this body of Christ.

The mural is "Cosmic Christ" it was commissioned in the hay day of the space program hence Huntsville known as the "Rocket City".
