The First Baptist Church of Birmingham is an active and vibrant community of people who welcome all, are intentional in their approach to living faithful lives, are focused in prayer, and energized and mobilized by the Spirit of God so that lives are changed through sharing our love of Jesus Christ and our resources in our community and around the world.
With our new pastor Scott Runyon, in the summer of 2017 we have entered a time of praying, watching and actively listening as we anticipate God's leading with a fresh vision and expression of ministry for the future.
Join us in our Sunday Worship Celebration at 10:30 am to see what new thing God is doing in Birmingham. Classes for all ages at 9:30 a.m.
We are active with a number of excellent ministries that support those most in need in our society including Friendship House in Hamtramck, Freedom House in Detroit, and hosting the homeless in our facility through the South Oakland Shelter.
