First Baptist Church of Fall River is a member of The American Baptist Church of Massachusetts. We are a moderately diverse congregation engaged in ministry in our neighborhood. We host community meals open to anyone who cares to come, Monday at noon and Tuesday at 5:00. We have a warming center during the winter (weekdays, 7-9 am). We have a clothing ministry and host 12 step programs each week day. We gather for worship on Sunday mornings at 10:00.
We welcome people wherever they are in their spiritual journey. We are rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ embracing the 2 Great Commandments: Love God with all your heart and soul and mind; and Love your neighbor as yourself. We embrace the traditional Baptist tenet of freedom of conscience in regard to faith and belief.
