Story

The congregation of First Baptist Church joins together for the purpose of bringing joy to God through worship, fellowship, and service. We strive to be a dynamic, spiritual body empowered by the Holy Spirit to share Christ with the world.

First Baptist Church of Forest City is strongly committed to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through social ministry throughout our community and in cooperation with churches of various denominations.

First Baptist Church of Forest City embraces the 1963 Baptist Faith and Message and affirms the ordination and leadership of both women and men in the church. We also believe that our children and youth are a vital part of the church's leadership.

As a congregation, we are actively engaged in missionary activities in our community, our state, our nation, and around our world.
