Mission

First Baptist Watauga is a “Family On Mission” for Christ. We are called to exalt Jesus all of the time, equip believers until the end of time and evangelize the lost one at a time.

Exalting the Savior – We exalt Christ through public and private worship as a whole church and in smaller groups. There are many opportunities for children, youth and adults to lift up the Savior.

Equipping the Believers – We are committed to the truth that every believer has a purpose in the work of God’s Kingdom. We are planning and providing for the growth of all believers for the work of the ministry.

Evangelizing the Lost – The Great Commission is the primary directive of the church. We are committed to Christ’s command to “make disciples” by sharing the Good News in our neighborhood and to the “uttermost parts of the world.”
