First Community Bank of Central Alabama is a commercial bank that has been open since August, 2001. We currently have offices in Wetumpka, Millbrook, Eclectic, Prattville, West Prattville, Tallassee, and Holtville. We also operate a Wealth Management Division and a full-service mortgage company, First Community Mortgage.

Don't use this bank for a home loan. The people in Tallassee are awesome but do not use wetumpka. The girl who I had to use for the preapproval process did nothing but waste my time. She was rude and apathetic. She told me I wasn't preapproved so I asked what I could do to improve my chances for approval,  she acted like it was just a waste of time for her. Over the course of 3 days I paid off every debt in my name (expect a student loan) and she still told me I wasn't approved. I knew she wasn't possibly right so I asked her to do the math with me. She was dividing 6 weeks worth of pay over the entire year to date (3 months). If she had bothered to CARE AT ALL she could've easily looked at any of the MULTIPLE forms of information that I had given her, including the dates on the check stubs themselves, to see her mistakes. Instead she assumed that I was lying about my monthly income and basically told me that when I first confronted her. She also failed to send me and another potential lender ( who went above and beyond to readily approve me) a fax that I stressed was very important. She also kept me waiting 35 minutes to see her even though I scheduled a meeting with her. Don't give your business to these people. Give it to someone who actually cares and deserves it.
