Story

Anoka United Church of Christ is an Open and Affirming congregation. We have been members of the Anoka, Minnesota community since May of 1855. Although our religion may be centuries old, our thinking is not. We firmly believe that God is still speaking to us - and to you.

Anoka UCC is a vital church. Our facility is fully accessible and welcoming of all seekers.

We are located in downtown Anoka, Minnesota on the corner of Main and 3rd Ave South.

Worship services are 8:30am and 10:30am with adult education and fellowship in between. Sunday School for children and youth is during the second service. Youth group (grades 6-12) meets Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm.

Mission

The mission of the Anoka United Church of Christ is to be an open, vital nurturing Christian community:

By searching for God's guidance through prayer, for God's knowledge through scriptures, and for a model of Christian living through the life of Jesus Christ;

By providing an environment to reflect, to share our faith, to grow spiritually, and to support one another;

By striving to meet the religious needs for all ages in our congregation;

By encouraging individuality, acceptance of diversity, participation in our church, and reaching out faithfully in our community and the world.
