Story

First Due Movers is locally owned and operated by east side firefighters. Our goal is to provide a completely stress free move while delivering “white glove” service to our customers and their belongings. We strive to bring the same dedication, reputation and honesty to moving as we do to firefighting. We are a fully licensed and insured company operating under the authority of the Washington State Utilities and Transportation Commission.

We provide several types of moving services all over the greater Seattle area and Washington State, as well as interstate moves. We have different types of moves and will find one that works best for you and your budget. First Due Movers also offers a complete packing service as well as eco-friendly reusable moving totes AKA "Fireboxes".

First Due Movers is a First Rate Company! From initial contact to final handshake after the move I was very impressed with how professional yet easy going this group is. Luke travelled a ways to give a free estimate and stuck to his price all the way through with no surprises at all. On the day of the move I got a call from Dane telling me they were on the way. Dane, Fabian, & Jake showed up on time in two trucks. I didn't have to stick around while they loaded up and met them the next day at the destination about 160 miles away. They called again letting me know they were on the way. I was very impressed with how well our belongings were protected and handled by the 3. They didn't waste any time but were able to communicate well with each other to not let anything get damaged and for them to not get hurt. I could go on and on with how glad I am that we spent the money and let the professionals make this move for us. IF YOU'RE PLANNING A MOVE, PLAN ON FIRST DUE MOVERS! YOU WON'T BE SORRY.

This company was recommended to me by someone at work. In preparation for our move, we received bids from multiple companies. Even though First Due Movers was not the lowest bid, they were thorough, very knowledgeable, and professional in their bidding process. These traits continued throughout our interaction with them. Our intuition was that we could trust them to take good care of our possessions during the moving process and we were right. The way they worked together was impressive, demonstrating an incredible sense of teamwork. They showed a consistent sense of urgency in moving our possessions and were often running up and down the stairs. They never stopped! The care they took with preparing our furniture for the move was impressive and comforting. They did a walk through at the end to ensure we were pleased and everything was in the right place in our new home. They are a first rate, quality moving company that we highly recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about First Due Movers. They did a great job for our move. There were punctual, and did everything they said they would do. They took care with all my mom’s things and were very respectful and deligent. Compared to other moving companies, I definitely felt they operated from a place of integrity. They do live up to their values, and I really appreciate that. And they were very professional throughout the entire moving experience. I recommended them to other co-workers, and they were also very satisfied.

First Due movers helped my recent business move go much more smoothly than I expected! I highly recommend them for anyone in need of movers for business or home. My parents also used them for moving out of their home and had a great experience.

The team at First Due is fantastic. We've hired them twice in the last few years, and in both cases we were completely satisfied. They were 100% professional, right from the first meeting where they came to estimate the job, through the scheduling process, and of course during the job itself. They wrap and secure things so well that in neither case did we have a single nick, scratch or break on ANYTHING. There's just something unique about them. They seem to care more than others, and it permeates the culture. I would recommend them without the slightest hesitation, and I would hire them again in an instant.
