Story

First Missouri State Bank was organized July 3, 1912, and was originally named State Bank of FIsk. Since our beginning it has been our mission to provide a full range of financial services that will fully satisfy the needs of our customers and our community. We have two convenient locations, with an ATM at our Poplar Bluff office and just west of Poplar Bluff in the Green Forest area. To the people who have made First Missouri State Bank a part of their family, we thank you for your confidence and support. I went to this branch this morning to cash a check written by a First Missouri State Bank account holder. First, the employees were late for work and the bank opened 7 minutes late while I sat in the parking lot calling and watching them arrive. Then the employee on the phone told me the check could be cashed and what I needed to bring in with me so I entered the lobby and was told it wasn’t possible. Very unprofessional.
