Friend was given a check from a very sorry employer who banks with First National bank in Roanoke Va and evidently the employer has an inside person in the bank who is not honest.   The check was for bank pay owed $2600 however the check was only $2300.  When my friend went STRAIGHT to the bank to cash the check he was told they had stopped pmt on the check.  They took the check from him. Did not give him a copy which is not right and when he called the company they will not take his calls. Not a very reputable bank or company. This should be reported to Federal
