We offer membership to people who live, work, worship or attend school in Cass, Dodge, Douglas, Lancaster, Sarpy, Saunders, and Washington counties in Nebraska and Pottawattamie county in Iowa!

Like all credit unions, First Nebraska Credit Union is a financial cooperative that offers many of the same services you find at other financial institutions; however we are owned and operated by our members. Your credit union savings represent your "share" in the cooperative and are insured by NCU to at least $250,000 per account.

The benefits of membership are returned to its members, with better rates and lower fees to provide significant savings!

I recently opened a bank account there. I applied for a credit card. I had not received a response in weeks so I called and was informed they did not have my application, they some how lost it. I then had to reapply, although the representative was nice it was strenuous. I did not have my account number. I called and was told they could not give it to me over the phone and I would need to come in. I was informed its for security which is understandable just inconvenient. Now I need a family member to make a withdrawl from my account and was told only I can. I work during their hours so I now have to leave work early just to go to the bank. This credit union has been a huge inconvenience since I opened this account. I'm hoping eventually it will be more user friendly.

The bank is always willing to work with us. Kathi is great. I highly recommend First Nebraska Credit Union.
