Located on the corner of Third Avenue and Fifth Street across from Greene Square Park, First Presbyterian seeks to serve as a crossroad for faith and community at the 'heart of the city'.
We worship together at 10:15 each Sunday in a style which honors tradition and introduces new and modern music and liturgy. From September-May we offer Sunday School for all ages at 9:00am. During the summer we continue to hold Insight adult education classes at 9:00.
Childcare is available from 9:00am-11:30am each Sunday.
As one of the few downtown churches in Cedar Rapids, we are committed to serve our community with a variety of programs including the Linn County Foodbank and the Sunday Evening Meal Program both housed in our bulding. We also host other community programs including an NA (12 Step) Meeting on Tuesday and Saturday evenings, the Foster Care Review Board and Family Promise of Linn County.
