First Presbyterian Church of Tomball ~ We are the friendly church with the big heart, serving our community and sharing Christ's unconditional love.

Story

We worship together at 11:00 a.m. in a traditional service with formal liturgy and music. Our pastor presents the Word through sermons giving messages from Scripture that are timeless and pertinent to our daily lives. We are guided through the service by a bulletin that features responsive readings, prayers of adoration and confession, hymns of praise and thanksgiving, and petitions for intercession. Worshippers, including visitors, are invited to join in the sharing of their Joys or Concerns so that they may be incorporated into the pastoral prayer. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper the first Sunday of each month, and all who have accepted Christ as their Lord and been baptized in his name are welcome to participate

Mission

The Apostle Paul wrote in his letter to the church in Rome and said, "Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us." Romans 12:4-6

We believe that we are a part of a world wide church, and as such we are called to reach out to our world in compassion and service.
