First steet plumbing came out and assessed the job we wanted done. The guy (who we found out later is the owners son) told us we would either need a whole new system or find the missing part on eBay. He left saying he would try to find it. When he came back later, we had bought all new parts, but he refused to do it, saying it would take a couple hours and he had other appointments. We rescheduled for the following Monday. The next Monday, he continued to refuse to do it, saying it would be so much cheaper for us and less time for him to just get the missing piece. He ultimately left us in a bind, doing very little work, refusing to do what we requested and were fine paying more for, and wasting several days before we finally just called another company (who did it quickly and professionally). Waiting several days also wasted valuable time for us as we had family visiting to do the cosmetic work in the bathroom, after the plumbing part was complete. They ended up needing to take more time off work, and come into town another visit to complete it. And first plumbing STILL charged us for the visit! When we called him on it, he was not kind about it. Overall a very frustrating experience. We will not use them again. We will pay more if we need to, to have a better experience, get things done right the first time, and have professionals do it.

Very unprofessional, and low quality work. They might have cheap prices, but you get what you pay for and I'd be willing to pay a little more to have someone actually do the job the right way, and act in a professional manner. We're going to have to pay a second plumber to go back out and fix their work anyway, so in the long run it probably would've been cheaper to use someone more expensive in the first place.

First Street was contracted to install a single gas line in my home. After a representative of the company visually inspected the job. I was verbally quoted $75.00, 25 min. Later he was done. The bill that followed was $300.00 and they are trying to charge me for parts they didn't even install. With all the complaints I have heard in Idaho Falls about these shysters. I think they are due for a class action lawsuit!

We called First Street Plumbing due to a leaky shower cartridge.  We were charged for a service call which we were OK with.   We were then charged for two hours while their plumber looked at "4 different stores" to find our cartridge in town, which he did not find.  . We were absolutly shocked that were were billed for his plumber to search around town.  I know it is crazy but they have an invention called a phone to figure things like this out.  TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, WE HAD TO PAY ANOTHER COMPANY TO FIX THE LEAK THAT FIRST STREET'S PLUMBER MADE WORSE!!!!  When I called to complain about the bill I was threatened with the credit bureau if I didn't pay my bill.   I WILL NEVER CALL FIRST STREET AGAIN!!
