Super fresh and tasty. The tacos had a good mix of textures and flavors, and each bite really was incredible! Tortilla soup was delicious too, with big chunks of avocado and chicken. Plenty of seating both inside and outside. You order at the counter, take a number, and then they bring your food to your seat. They have a few drink options: three draft beers, draft margarita on the rocks, and margarita slushie maybe more too, but that's what we saw!. Plus a big cooler of non alcoholic stuff.
Service and atmosphere were great! The tacos had too much coleslaw/raw onions for my preference, but overall they were pretty good. Chips and queso were decent but nothing too special. Here's my ranking for the tacos, best to okay: blackened salmon, ancho shrimp, chicken, signature fish. Would definitely recommend the first two with less coleslaw and add some lime.
Very good tacos. One of the best fish tacos I have had. Tried the grilled and blackened tacos. The grilled taco was very tasty and has the right amount of salt and spices. The blackened felt like they added spices just for the sake of it and I could get taste the spices only outside the fish. I felt the quantity of fish in a taco was very less. As you can see from the picture, you get one small piece of fish in a taco. I will be coming back here mainly as the fish felt very fresh.
I love their rice bowls. My favorite is the chicken one. Pretty much everything on their menu is good. The service is fast and the staff is very friendly. I love the outside seating area especially during a warm sunny day.
Oct 2021 Decent food, but too expensive for the quality. We ordered online for pickup, so not much interaction with the staff. They have a special shelf by the door for online orders. All the staff wore masks. We ordered queso and chips, a Carnitas taco, and a chicken burrito. Everything tasted good, but not very amazing. The queso was particularly disappointing. It was very yellow it's supposed to be white and it mainly tasted like cheddar with a little queso. Not worth it. They also didn't give us a lot of chips. I could have gotten twice as much at Giant for the same price. The taco had a good amount of meat, though there was a lot of onion. The burrito was mainly beans and rice, and could have had more meat. Overall, good food, but too expensive for the quality and quantity.
Great variety of fillings for tacos, burritos, platters, and rice bowls. Fast service, too. Lots of outdoor seating and they do take out to the Streetery as well.
Laid back, casual, clean, pet welcome, pet friendly and private. The food are delish and served fresh. Pets are welcome even in arctic weather conditions and for that we are grateful for their kind accommodations. Yes we as a family enjoyed our dinner without prejudice or judgement cause we have our furball with usFood: 5/5
Massive bone chunk in my chicken tacos. Could've taken a tooth out/posed a choking hazard, had to spit it out. I get things can't always be perfect, but when I contacted Fish Taco corporate, "Lauren" gave the standard "we're sorry" spiel and promised to make it better/improve, and then just blew me off. Very rude. How a company handles these types of situations is a reflection of who they are, and if they can't even deliver basic customer service and properly deal with having dangerous chunks of bones in their food, then that's very disconcerting.
Love their food! It was so delicious and their staff are so friendly too! Our favorite place to go in downtown Bethesda. They have nice outdoor seating options, so it’s great to enjoy nice warm days :
Really good beer batter fish tacos and the sauce is pretty bomb too. The beans and rice actually had good flavor. Nice atmosphere inside too. Will definitely go back to try their other tacos.
