A small campground with 14 3 way hookup, 9 2 way hookups, dump station dry camping and a couple of tent sites, overlook the ocean, beaches, surfing

Story

We have an ocean view. Only a few minutes walk to the white sand beach. There are three beaches on this stretch of the number 3 highway. We have White Point Beach Lodge where there is a nice beach and they have surf lessons and kayaking. They also have a 18 hole golf course. We have a few restaurants in the area.

After a mix up in booking dates at another campground, we ended up staying at Fisherman's Cove on a whim. Amazing stay right from the start, starting from a late night phone call desperately looking for a place to stay the night after travelling with two dogs for 4.5 hours, the owner meeting us late to direct us to our site to providing information about the area. We were even invited to a pig roast. Friendly owner who was a joy to chat with. Wonderful place, highly recommend. Super close to a lovely warm beach as well. We will definitely be coming back. This campground certainly does NOT deserve the low rating. It is camping. Not staying in the Hilton. Again, wonderful place. Very affordable too.

Just returned from a wonderful weekend at Fisherman's Cove!  Can't say enough good things about the campground.  Dave and Vivian go over and above to make sure you are looked after.  The amenities are great and the beaches are within a short walking distance.  We will definitely return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay (two nights).   The folks were friendly and helpful.   Facilities were very clean and the place was well cared for.   Apparently someone had commented that it was like staying in someone's backyard.    I agree!   It was like staying with old friends.   We had a great campsite and loved the beach and wharf, along with the fishing boats.    If you are looking for somewhere on your journey for a quiet, pleasant spot, this is it!   Would definitely go back.   Good luck to Dave and Vivian, and to your son, when you have to go away.    He did a great job really, although we teased him a lot!!

Ruth Kimball and Rhonda Medicraft both need to check their adult cards and see if they still qualify to hold them. Based on our experience with this couple and this site, it was both a joy and a pleasure to spend time at this gem of a campground. The couple running the place are hospitable and courteous and when I mentioned the reviews of the individuals childish enough to pout and give this spot a one star review they both were not only surprised but sorry to hear that someone had a negative experience with their business. Of course we all know that if you treat others the way you'd like to be treated you will have a pleasant experience no matter what happens. Don't let the childish opinion of two spoiled brats ruin the chance for you to see this quaint little spot and meet the adorable couple running the place

A perfectly reasonable place to spend a night in your RV. They certainly deserve a better overall rating than the one they currently have. The couple that run the place were friendly with us and we chatted about road trips. It is a bit "rustic" and I wouldn't plan a holiday around this RV park, but they are close to Kejimkujik Seaside National Park and have a reasonably priced coin laundry.
