This is one of the more spacious locations of Fit4less that I have visited (I've been to 4 total so far and this is 2/4). It can get quite crowded on weekdays after work hours so I tend to avoid that time. There is no shower or water fountain at this location so bring your own bottle. Staff at this location are not great, they tend to be away from the main desk more often than not. It is difficult to find one of them most times. Overall it's fine for the price you pay, but all other Fit4less locations I have visited feel more welcoming.

I'm definitely not one to do this but I had to leave a bad review for this location because I had horrible experiences here. The first time I cancelled my membership.. not one but TWO people assisted me in cancelling it and also made me sign a paper to confirm it's been cancelled so I obviously thought my membership was cancelled for good. Two weeks later I'm getting charged all these random fees so I go back in and I tell them I'm getting charged for no reason and she tells me if I kept my paper .. now obviously I don't keep every paper I get because I didn't think this would happen. after asking several questions the manager does some paper work to make sure my money is refunded to me. They said I'd have to wait two weeks.. it's been two months. I've still never got my money back and they never found the papers they were supposed to document for my cancellation. Please be advised they're not the best with customer service. Sorry if I was mean just being honest .. you guys need more responsible employees

As far as Gyms go this is probably the most basic one I've ever been to. True, the rate is quite cheap -$10 per month however, that's no excuse . With 8000 + members the FRANCHISEES ARE MAKING A KILLING!!!  

As I have not been to the other locations I cannot comment, however, I've been told by a few members that other Fit 4 Less locations are FAR better maintained than the Golden Mile location. So, I have some issues with this specific location in particular. Here they are:

ISSUE: # 1: LACK OF CERTAIN EQUIPMENT - They need a few extra pieces of equipment  1) another leg press machine,  2) not 1 but TWO calve machines.  

ISSUES # 2: BROKEN EQUIPMENT - They need to fix broken equipment in a more timely manner. I've seen cable machines take 3 + months to be fixed - UNACCEPTABLE!!!  

ISSUE # 3: GYM ETIQUETTE - These members are the WORST at Gym etiquette - they have NONE!!!  Management needs to be FIRM about telling members to PUT WEIGHTS BACK WHERE THEY FOUND THEM!!!!

ISSUE # 4: INCORRECT USE - This is NOT a Crossfit gym. I constantly see guys ( mostly young kids filled with testosterone and little else) doing heavy deadlifts, clean jerks etc..banging plates on the floor, not putting back their plates etc. 

FINAL COMMENT - Fit 4 Less Golden Mile - Get your S#@t together!!!

Considering the low price, it may be hard to believe this, but Fit4Less is a scam in a few ways. First, if you do the weekly membership, you must pay a registration fee PLUS you are locked in for a year (that is in the fine print: they won't mention this explicitly). Second, if you do a yearly contract, you MUST arrive before your contact finishes to renew your contract, or they will force you to pay the registration fee again (they will not contact you to tell you when the contract finishes). Also, the facilities are small, are always crowded and have a lot of broken equipment. Seems like a good deal when you look at the price; seems terrible when you look at the details.

For the money you pay the gym has everything you need for a good workout. Very busy from 5pm onwards. Overall a nice place to workout.
