I love this gym! I have worked out at this gym for over two years. Justin, the owner, has helped me lose over 100 pounds. The facility is large with a sauna, tanning beds, locker room, lots of free weights, machines, and an area for cardio. The people who work there are knowledgable and friendly. Justin is certified as a physical trainer and always available to talk to. He owns the gym and is available to make changes or help in any way. You really get a personal touch from the owner who is local. Deffinately the BEST gym in PORTALES!

I've been working out at Fitness & More fora couple of years. It is a nice facility with lots of options. They have tons of free weights which no one else in town has. The staff is very friendly, helpful and the personal trainer is very knowledgeable about nutrition and fitness matters. A nice,clean place to workout and then enjoy the sauna.

I have been working out at Fitness and More for over 2 years now and have found that this gym has everything you could ever need. Whether you are new to lifting/working out or are looking to train to compete in an event, Fitness and More has the right equipment. In addition to being well equipped, Justin (the owner) and his staff are very knowledgable about the different types of programs that are best to help you achieve the results you are looking for, from burning fat to building muscle. Also, the locker rooms are nice and always clean, the sauna has recently been re-done and is always nice after a good workout, and they also offer tanning booths if you decide you need a little more color. Fitness and More also offers a variety of classes from boot camps to aerobics for those looking to add a punch to their workouts. I have never felt crowded or uncomfortable while working out. I cannot imagine a better gym for the price, especially when you factor in everything that is available to members. One thing I really like is the flexibility of the membership. They offer discounts to students and specials for each season as well. If you are looking for a place to just get in shape or to pack on some serious muscle, this is the place to go in Portales. You'll see me there for sure! And I am not sure who Portalisian is, but I do not think they have actually been a member of Fitness and More. Their review is the exact opposite of my experience.
