10 empty tables when I walked in and everyone of them is dirty. The guys behind the counter had a hard time understanding the need to clean the tables. And also my request for a rag so I could clean them myself. But worse than really everything else was the delivery of a hamburger that didn't match even the quality of the signs in the walls. For example. I asked for a burger that was medium rare. They should have left it juicy and tasty and not overcooked. What was delivered to me was an overcooked dry thing. I needed the water to go with the burger. My fingers were virtually clean after I was done with the burger. Juicy? Not in the least. The only thing wet about the whole Burger was the condiments. The bacon that was supposed to come with my burger was in horrible shape as well. Paper thin pieces of overcooked bacon. I just don't understand how people can go here in like this place. Hopefully the Five Guys crew on staff on Wednesday night is the only problem. And hopefully that can be cured with some retraining. But until that's done I recommend everyone stay away from Five Guys in downtown Redwood City. For the price you pay there is no value in the burgers as delivered.

Five Guys Redwood City was a big disappointment burger was ok but not for 12 dollars for burger and small soda. In and Out much better burger ,fris, 6 dollars. always clean and good service . I will never go back to Five Guys again Talk about a clip joint ......

Service was poor. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. Hey! Where're my bacons? I ordered a regular (small actually) soda? What? $2.59? Really? Okay. Then the cashier even forgot to give me a paper cup. The soda machine lacked lots of selections, like all kinds of lime flavored soda. Never encountered this situation in other fast food restaurants. Those young cashiers enjoyed their time talking to each other, but they were unable to do their job well. Besides, the ground was dirty, greasy and sticky. If you are a Five Guys lover, I would recommend you to go to the one at Tanforan, San Bruno. Employees there seem to have some sort of disabilities. However they can provide you heartfelt services.
