Amazing. Love the burgers here. A nice change from In & Out. Updated 11/2017 It just gets better and better. The concept here is pretty simple: Amazing burgers that have FLAVOR. Yes flavor. Unlike In & Out that has no flavor whatsoever Five Guys delivers big time. Pro Tip: Start of slow, add all the red line and ease into the black line of condiments. Try the combo that works best and you will be blown away. Oh yeah, Cajun fries all the way baby.
The food was good and reasonably priced for the quantity and quality. Service was fast and friendly. I often forget this place is here, but they make a great burger.Food: 4/5
The food at this location sucks and is staffed by tweakers. They can’t even cook a grilled cheese right.Food: 1/5
The service was good during the dinner rush, and the team managed well. I personally didn't mind waiting a bit for a fresh burger and Cajun fries. Five guys makes a solid burger and for the price to have the burger made exactly how you want and not nickel and dimed for every topping, is refreshing, considering every other fast food place charges for modifications.
Asked for a hamburger. Very clear—and the cashier repeated back. I got a cheeseburger; and was charged for it. Because the order took so long, I said nothing — I didn’t want to wait any more. My wife’s hot dog was ready to go shortly after we sat down — we could see it. But we had to wait until my “hamburger” was ready. And even then the wait continued long after my number should have been called — I had to ask what happened to our order. This used to a great place — not so much anymore. And at $28 for a hot dog, hamburger and one order of fries — who are they kidding?
This place is amazing. The food is awesome. Little overprised but still worth it.Food: 5/5
The one in Simi stinks but this 1 is OUTSTANDING +++++ the people that work there SUPER FANTASTIC food magnificent everything NAILED IT!!!!Food: 5/5
First & last time at Five Guys. The burger & fries were good...the unsweetened iced tea from their machine was gross tasted like the flavors from all the other teas combined. Anyway, holy cow, I did not realize how expensive Five Guys is! $23+ for a burger, small fry, and drink. YIKES! The place is run by teenagers for goodness sake. The food was pretty good – I just don't think it's worth the cost. I'd rather go to a sit down restaurant and eat for that price. The Cliffdiver is less than three minutes away, has sit down seating with full bar, better burgers, and cost $8 less. Go there instead, you'll thank me.
This place is incredibly over-hyped, underwhelming, and overpriced!! You can literally get 3 x Double Doubles from In-n-Out for the price of one mediocre Burger from this place! On a positive note, they did give me so many fries I had to throw most of them away. Although, I guess that's also a negative. More organic waste. If you're into fries then you will like this place. However, with these prices, you're paying for those one way or another as well. The restaurant itself, Thousands Oaks CA location, was not as clean as the many In-N-Outs I've visited either. Oh, and the girl that took my order made an audible, "yuck" when I asked for onions on the burger. That made me laugh. I see no reason to visit any of these locations again. If you're looking for a cheaper option, just go to In-n-Out. If you want an awesome Burger, and you live near LA, find a Fatburger! Now that is a burger worth the price.
I LOVE FIVE GUYS!!!!!!!!!! The food was good, but the milkshake was very runny. The people taking my order and giving me my food seemed so pissed and like they hated being their.Food: 4/5
