You guys delivered on flavor, with a noteworthy mention of the Little Bacon hamburger. While the patty was juicy, it's worth noting that the bacon, unfortunately, arrived a bit overcooked and on the burnt side when enjoyed at home. On a positive note, the fries were a standout feature – generously portioned, perfectly crispy, and well-seasoned. Room for improvement in ensuring consistency, especially with the bacon preparation. Overall quality of the burgers and the fantastic fries make Five Guys a promising spot. Here's hoping for a more consistently great experience in the future!
Fries were the best part. Burgers are expensive for the quality. The bun is a let down, it’s too soft and quickly becomes soggy. The staff announcing the order numbers when they are ready are next to impossible to hear causing confusion and chaos in the restaurant.
damn guys...!!! fries were nearly orange...meaning bad quality potatoes and old oil. burger was made sloppy...with practically no lettuce . if I wanted 1 teaspoon of onion & tiny pickles I would've went to McDonalds...same goes for the portion of mushrooms...smh. you guys have 7-10 ppl willing to wait ahead of each other so meals can be done with care...& you guys failed miserably. stop going into businesses if you don't care about the quality!! the only pleasant part was the girl taking my order this location needs serious help %
Ordered two hamburgers and an order of fries. Very disappointing. The burgers had no toppings, and felt like eating a dry piece of patty. The fries not the usual "five guys" way, where they fill the cup, and dump a scoop in. Regret tipping on top of my $30 disappointment.
I am compelled to share my recent, deeply disturbing and disgusting experience at the Five Guys restaurant located North Queens Sherway area. This visit was marked by unsanitary conditions, a hair in my burger as evident in the photo provided, and an unpleasant encounter with the manager, leaving me thoroughly disgusted and disappointed and questioning the overall integrity of this restaurant. Upon entering, I immediately noticed a lack of basic hygiene practices among the kitchen staff – all five men working without the required beard mesh. The fact that these people are allowed to operate a restaurant where there is food boggles my mind. How they don't even use their common sense and understand that their hair may fall on or in the food is just insane to me. This type of stuff seems to be happening more and more these days with a certain type of demographic. This clear violation of health and safety regulations raises serious concerns about the overall cleanliness of the food preparation area. My disgust and frustration was deepened when I discovered a hair embedded in the patty of my burger, as documented in the photo I have attached. This is a clear breach of cleanliness standards and an oversight that significantly impacted my dining experience. Adding to my frustration was the manager's response when I approached him regarding the hair in my burger. Instead of addressing the issue promptly and professionally, he refused to provide a refund until I made it clear that I would be reporting the unsanitary conditions and the fact none of them were following policy of wearing a beard mesh. I urge the head office of Five Guys to take immediate corrective action regarding hygiene practices and customer service. Customers should not have to endure such disgusting and unpleasant experiences, especially when it comes to issues as fundamental as food safety and cleanliness. This review serves as both a critique and a plea for improvement. I sincerely hope that the necessary changes are implemented swiftly, ensuring that Five Guys upholds the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and customer service and as for myself I will no longer be going to this Five Guys location and I urge anyone who reads this to not to either until the owners change because it starts with those at the top.
Okay, this review has been a long time coming... I worked for Five Guys for a few years in the UK and ever since then it has been my favorite go-to burger joint west of Europe! Its patties are the true kings of the burger world. Its milkshakes have always been reliable, and available. There's a reason they don't need to advertise people! The quality speaks for itself. Do yourself or your friends and relatives a favor: try Five Guys. Vegetarian options: Lettuce wrapping option for every burger type, grilled cheese sandwiches, BLTs Dietary restrictions: They serve fries in peanut oil and peanuts on display not to mention gluten servings. They do have options for you, i.e.: lettuce wrapping the burger instead of between bread buns. Peanut is everywhere though so you need to be very mindful. You need to be careful with everything in these locations. You've been warned.
This occasion the service was quick. It isn't always. Food is good. Free peanuts are always very nice. The seagull wanted in, but should have read the sign indicating 'Use other door'. Parking: sufficient parking. Wheelchair accessibility: fine.
The food was good and the staff was friendly. The toppings were very neatly placed in the burger, and barely any condiments fell out unlike other locations. Always a hit here. The staff was really nice. We ordered a hot dog for our toddler, and they ran out of hot dog buns, but they asked if a hamburger bun was ok. We said it was fine. When the hot dog was served, they cut up the dog so that it layed flat inside the bun. I thought it was really touch :
Your burger, your way! The toppings offered is so plentiful, that no two burgers should ever be the same. The generosity on the fries is amazing though it certainly used to be more so; and the shakes are a must.Food: 5/5
Wide assortment of toppings adds to a great burger. I've been saying for years that those delicious fries were begging for cheese curds and gravy... I was not disappointed, that poutine is legit!
