I work in FB at night and most of the police know me. I just received a $35 ticket for parking in a parking lot at night while I worked nearby!!!Total BS! And $35 for a parking violation?! What are they paying salaries from parking tickets now?! It's hard to respect police when they don't respect the working man.

Being a past residen of flagler Beach i have never been confronted or felt threathned by any of the officers there. There presence are well known for such a small town. Having been in a more serious situation in the same county, i try and not loose the trust and faith in our officers who work with integrity and understanding. Many officer dont get the respect they deserve, i know this from my past experience with LEO. Flagler beach cops really work with integrity, Humility and understanding. i had to give a review for my own experience. Good work should not be taken for granted. Keep it up, Officer Grerer and others like her for your quick response to a minor incident and making home owners and renters feel safe and respected as "all" resident should obay and comply to the rules and laws we should abide by. Much respect for your profeshional conduct in this matter.

Shameful and cruel. These people have no conscience. They only fined the owner $25 for terrifying and endangering the life of this poor dog in the photo below. The video was on the CNN Facebook Page with over a million views and over 5,000 comments condemning this Police Department for their apathetic view on animal cruelty. The views and condemning comments throughout other social media pages is still beyond count. When I confronted a Sheriff about this poor animal being tethered on top of a trailer as the vehicle drove down the freeway, the Sheriff said "Maybe the dog liked it." Another woman who worked there very coldly stated that even though Animal Cruelty is a federal Class "A" crime their police department had jurisdiction and "handled it". The FBI has stated that animal cruelty is a sign of a potential serial killer or domestic violence offender. Clearly, these people have no sense of ethics. They have no human compassion for vulnerable lives. These people should not work in law enforcement as their behavior and decisions allow for potential serial killers and domestic violence offenders to feel protected. They clearly feel animals are objects and do not deserve protection despite what the FBI has ordered. These people are low.
