Flagship Cruises & Events is a local, family-owned and operated yacht charter, cruise and events company serving San Diego since 1915. We specialize in gourmet dinner cruises, harbor tours, patriot jet boat thrill rides, private charters, corporate events, weddings and many more special occasions. We also offer whale watching excursions December through April with our partner, Birch Aquarium, and year-round ferry and water taxi service to Coronado Island and along San Diego Bay.

A very nice cruise of the San Diego Harbor! The sun was shining and the views were amazing! The Coronado Bridge and Coronado Island is just magnificent! The downtown skyline of San Diego was breathtaking! A must see for any visitors or locals! I  would definitely do again!

The coastal tour we had on this nice old ship was exciting and educational,and will a great host, whom was we'll informed, with a great personality.  He kindly jumps to help anyone that wants a photo taken of them, whether they're alone or in a group.  The bar makes an absolutely wonderful and delicious Bloody Mary drink and I don't imbibe, so I had a virgin bloddy Mary, and in my opinion, it was even better. It had lots of green olives, celery and some other treats hanging on and in the drink, and it was delicious!!!  I wish I could have one every day, but I live in Colorado,so I will have to wait for our next trip to San Diego.
The price was reasonable and it was so fine a day.  We enjoyed the warm weather, the salt air and the Navy ships and submarines. I enthusiastically recommend the Flagship Cruises.

We've been on 3 different tours with Flagship Tours. Always professional and really enjoy the commentary. Look for discount tickets to get even greater value our of your experience

Signed up for the 3.5 hr whale watching cruise. Bought the tickets through a Groupon deal and you do need to call and reserve your place with number of attendees and the time slot you want. The crew were all pleasant. One went around offering to take photos of families, while another had a chart with different whale species and spoke about their migration patterns. The guide narrated about the surrounding areas and history. We saw a juvenile grey whale, lots of sea lions sunbathing on bouys and docks, and a huge pod of dolphins that raced along the cruise for a while. That was really exciting & beautiful.

Priceless experience to see so many animals in their natural habitat. We saw 8 whales on our trip out along with several dolphin. In addition, the staff did a fantastic job of educating us on the surrounding area as well as insight into migration patterns, biology and habits of the animals. Also, bring a layer or two to keep warm. It WILL get cold on the water.
