I planned my son's wedding rehearsal dinner at the outdoor patio area at the Flamingo.  The planning and the event was well done and worry free.  They accommodated all of our wishes to make the event perfect.  The staff were nice and available.  We also stayed at the Flamingo for the weekend with the family and our suites were just as we hoped.  Clean, accessible to the pool area for the grandchildren and the Champagne Brunch on Sunday was super fun and the food was spectacular!!
Everyone enjoyed their stay at the Flamingo and there was a lot of us!!!

The evening buffet was excellent, far more imaginative and abundant than I would have expected.  The renovated rooms were attractive and comfortable.  The closet needed more light near by.  The beds were very comfortable and the quiet a/c effective.  I really liked the wall of window as well.  The salmon dinner was also excellent as well as the fish and chips on the Terrace dining room.  Staff was courteous and helpful and I was surprised to see a concierge on duty.

The setting for the hotel is lovely, however, the hotel is aging. I turned on the shower and it sprayed all over my things on the bathroom counter. They sent someone to replace the shower head and then it was fine. The fridge they provided in my room went off for some reason. They came after many hours and turned it on somehow and then everything froze. All upstairs footsteps could be heard clearly. They were generous with providing passes to the wonderful health club adjacent to the hotel. So some good, some not so good.

We love staying at the Flamingo. It's a great place for the whole family. The grounds there are beautiful. It has a great atmosphere for hanging out, weather you want to swim, play on the grass or enjoy the restaurant. I can see why so many events are held there. I know we'll be going there for years to come.

The rooms and the amenities where great. An amazing pool area and rooms are so luxurious. But the restaurant is a joke. Very slow cooking and wait times. And the complimentary free breakfast charges $3.50 for a to go cup? Dinner took 2 hours from ordering to table. And my steak was med when I ordered well done. But I didn't dare ask for it back because I feared having to wait any longer to eat.
