We had a fantastic time in this quiet building. Very well decorated, clean and cozy. Large and small amazing spaces for any size group or single person available at the historic location in Hot Springs SD. We will be staying here annually.

The room(#3) was nice and comfortable. We would stay here again. Good jumping point for Rushmore and The Badlands.

WARNING, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! I have been VERY disappointed with ever doing business with this company and the woman who runs it, Kara (who doesn't even live in the region and only does business out of state). I have been in contact with her for a few days attempting to set up renting a suite from her. I even drove up to Hot Springs and went out of my way to go see a unit on specific day. I called her that very day to tell her that I was DEFINITELY interested in a specific suite. She later called me that evening to give me her contact email to send her the dates I was to rent out the unit etc. However, I needed to know how to pay for the days I was to rent it out. 24 hrs goes by and she NEVER responded back to me via phone or my email. Then I find out that she went behind my behind my back to rent it out to another client! Boy she was very misleading and VERY unreliable. She should have informed me another person was interested in the unit sooner! BEWARE!

You check in at the coffee house counter. You are given a key and told to take yourself to your room. The rooms are upstairs and not very well marked. We let ourselves into the wrong room by mistake. The management had put out a sign at the bottom of the stairs that rooms were available for view. We had a couple that walked into our room and said "Oops, we didn't know that someone had reserved this room. About 10:00 PM, we were awaken and told that we were not authorized to be in this room and the police had been called. We were confused and asked for the owners to straighten this out. The "owners/managers?" basically told us to move or else. So, we moved to another room. All of this could have been avoided if someone had shown us to the appropriate room. They assured us that we would recieve a refund because of the whole situation, but alas. I would never stay at this inn again nor recommend it to my friends. Jim

Not sure about the rooms as we live in Hot Springs but as for the coffee shop...bad food,horrible service and we don't really miss it except for the live music they did on the weekends.
