Grew up at jacomo lake. Change the name all you want. Still love it. Signs posted everywhere for direction. Bison and elk can be fed carrots or apples. Kids love it

Great park. Go see and feed the Elk and Bison. Carrots and etc. No grain or bread. Trails are rough washed out. Poor maintenance.

The elk and bison are awesome. .as close as some city peeps get to these awesome creatures.

Neat opportunities to see and feed Buffalo/bison and elk up close and personal in what I still consider the heart of Kansas City! Very large park. Bring several bags of full sized carrots, they go fast! We then ate lunch at a picnic table on site.
