Should have used a public defender.  He did not communicate with the D.A. well to negotiate a deal, he just seemed to wait for her phone call and was ready for me to accept her offer without even going over the flaws in her case. Also, he gave me inaccurate information several times including telling me he had a friend at the jail who told him I would be let out early and probably would not spend more than a few days. However, when I got there I was told everyone serves their required sentence. His lack of knowledge also in getting my property back made it hard to believe he ever worked at the D.A.'s office.
