Flo's Farmhouse has wonderful desserts! The five layer cakes are on the top of my list.  I gave it four stars for the friendly servers. The food is of grease spoon quality in my opinion. The coffee is weak and looked like water.  The atmosphere is inviting and cozy. It is a very popular restaurant with the locals. My friends like it there  ... so i go.

What a great diner!! The service, food and cost are great. This was my first visit. I ordered the fried shrimp dinner. It came with a bowl (not cup) of soup, baked potato, sweet corn and garlic bread. The serving sizes are well worth the price. We also had a piece of homemade pie... I think it was called the million dollar pie. It was fabulous!!! This is definitely a new favorite.

I was around the neighborhood deciding on where to have breakfast. I'm tired of all these chain restaurants where you eat the same thing just in different form. I walk by this lol restaurant that doesn't even seem open. The thing that caught my eye was this sign for a breakfast special. I, honestly didn't read it well but decided to see if this place was actually still existent. To my surprise it is. (There are lots of restaurants/stores in Riverside that seem to exist but are longer in service.) Okay, apparently the advertising that caught my eye only runs from m-th. I asked the joyful and welcoming server what she recommended. She said her favorite dishes she might recommend were the California omelette or the Chile Verde Omelette. Being the Latina that I am, I asked for the Chile verde Omelette. Here is where it gets good! It was the best breakfast I've had in a while. Everything was delicious. The omelette was covered with pork and the Chile Verde. You had just the right amount of pork for your plate. Not too much and not too little. The home fries were good all the way to the end. They never went cold. There were parts that were crunchy from the green peppers that were cooked with them. My food remained hot through out my breakfast. (That beats Denny's  any day.) My plate also came with biscuits and gravy. Biscuits were small and gravy was good but with little time the gravy became warm almost cold. My biscuits might not have been all that to me but I could see they were people's favorite. Every table had them because you can hear the customers asking for it.  Don't forget the coffee it goes great with this breakfast. You get a small jar that makes two cups of coffee. Overall, this place is great. Feels like real home cooking. One review might sound good, so ill keep up my findings and let you know how it goes. For now I really suggest you try the Chile Verde Omelette.
