I could eat only about 1/5 of my Carne Asada because it was so tough.  I have had Carne Asada at about 8 restaurants across the US and this was by far the worse.  As I write this, this is the only platter I have tried here, but I think this proves that they do not work with high quality beef.

I came all the way from Fairfax Virginia to Tast these amazing pupusas customer service was very nice very great environment for the family and friends to have a great time thank you for this delicious pupusa that I truly enjoyed

the pupusa palace! The thing about pupusa restaurants is that everyone wants to save money and cut corners so you end up with places that try to mix foods like mexican and central american so they appeal to a broader range of palates. This place doesnt do that, they serve Salvadoran food. You can choose from pupusas, tamales, soup, or other traditional dishes. If you like cheese get the pupusas . If you dont want meat ( or pork!!!) do NOT get chicharron, which is fried pork. My fav  is lorroco and cheese  pupusas, lorroco being an herby kind of vine bud that tastes a little like asparagus. The ensalada de frutas is not a chopped fruit salad it is a drink with bits of apple and pineapple, different and very good! Not a whole lot of ethnic food in winchester so Flor Blanca is a good option.
