If you are has been harassed by anyone including an officer or even the dispatcher you can go to the police department and ask for a grievance form to bring charges on the officer or anyone in the department that has mistreated or threatened you including derelict of duty as well as any violation of any of the constitution laws. These reports of misconduct need to be absolute correct and not exaggerated because of dislike. Be clear and to the point. Then personally hand the report to a clerk along with information as how to contact you. Make sure you get the clerks name and document the time and date you gave the report to the clerk. If you are not notified of receipt of the report contact the chief and explain when it was left and with who. Unfortunately I had to do just that because of misconduct of an officer and dispatch lady that were making reverse predigest remarks at me as well as refusing to do their job protecting me. For the most part the younger officers are easier to communicate with but even at that be careful. I am 74 years old and have found it makes no difference when it comes to expecting to be treated properly by some officers. Therefore at this time I can only give the department 2 stars.

Scumbag PI at the department caused a family friend of mine to go to the hospital by upsetting them to the point of almost having a stroke. Scumbag Michael Holt. I and many more of my friends will file a complaint against you through internal affairs. Possibly will be conducting a federal lawsuit-to-be as well.

Over half of the police in Florence seem to have attitude problems and or problems to abuse their badges, along with violating people's rights. Some should go to the police department, file a complaint through internal affairs, then you won't have to worry about being harassed or have the fear of being a victim of police brutality or just get a good lawyer and file a federal lawsuit against them. Nowadays, people get $55-250K dollars through settlements when they become a victim of their abuse or any brutality. One would not imply this to all authority figures, but it takes a bunch of rotten to ruin a huge barrel of good apples.
