Dr Bernasek replaced my knee in 2010. The knee never adhered to the cement. I was forced to go out of state for a revusion. He basically said sorry, nothing he could do. I've had 2 revisions since and can't walk w/o severe pain.

His work is like a fine masterpiece of art. My knee replacement was remarkably almost pain free and looks exactly like my other one with a fine, narrow barely visible scar after 2 months post op. I went from walker to walking unaided within 6 weeks. 
Dr Bernasek is gracious, personable and has the most wonderful bedside manner of any doctor I've ever encountered. 
His Executive Assistant Angela is efficient to the max and an asset to a very fine and talented surgeon. 
Do not be afraid to go home after 3 days PO. You will be on a walker and will need only minimal help. Who other than this fine doctor could promise this and make it true? 
My athletic friend had bilateral knee replacements by Dr Bernasek and was on the golf course in 4 weeks!! Believe it. It's true.
