     I cannot say enough about the kindness and professionalism of the local EMS here in Floyd County. The hospital staff, save for two kind nurses, is a completely different story. And I want to send a personal thanks to one EMS paramedic in particular and once I track down his name I will edit this post. This man knew my wife was in dire pain, and that I was barely holding it together.
     This man went above and beyond the call of duty by coming to sit a bit with us well after arrival and did an outstanding job calming and reassuring the both of us. I salute you kind sir.

Horrible hospital, horrible clinic. 90% of floyd county residents go to Mason City or New Hampton. Everything is old and outdated, including most of the doctors. I was in the er one night, and scweitzer was telling every patient he saw, no matter what symptoms they reported, this doctor told them all that all they needed were lifts to put in there shoes. If you need serious medical care, dont waste your time here. Get to some medical professionals immediately!
