I had a first class experience with guide Scott Cook fishing the Crane.  At the end of the day I had gained a ton of lake fishing knowledge, caught some memorable fish using different techniques, along with some good laughs and great lunch.  The experience was priceless and most memorable.  Thank you Scott Cook and Fly & Field Outfitters staff.

My dad and I went on a day trip on the Deschutes River with Justin as our guide. Neither of us had much experience with fly fishing, but by the end of the day, we felt as if we had been fishing the Deschutes for 15 years. It was a busy day on the water, but Justin made sure that we each caught fish during our trip. I was very impressed with Justin's knowledge of the river and ability to take us to a multitude of fishing holes in challenging locations. But above all else, Justin really made us feel at home. This was my first time in Oregon, but this trip will make it tough to not come back!

Need to take a minute here to give credit where credit is due! We enjoyed a phenomenal full day of fishing on the Deschutes, and I cannot speak highly enough of Justin!! As a previous river guide myself, it's pretty easy to tell how well someone knows a stretch of water, and Justin knew the Deschutes like the back of his hand, and worked hard all day to get us to every fishable inch! Justin is a very talented guide, professional, knowledgeable, and a great person to boot. We caught fish all day long and laughed all day long. As two women who love to fish, it's always a toss up of what kind of guide you get and how you'll be treated. Justin respected us from the start and we fished hard all day - one of the better river days I've ever had, thanks for everything Justin! Give a shout if you make it to Missoula! -Amy

I've been on two drift trips with "The Griff", and will likely be going annually going forward.  Not only is Griff a great guy, but he puts us on those red bands every time.  Also, Griff has provided num nums of the highest quality.  Freshed grilled pesto chicken and sides riverside at a table with a table cloth....Pretty fantastic.  Thanks FFO!!!

Dan is a true outdoorsman, great fisherman, guide, coach, and he made our fly fishing trip down the Deschutes river, out of Bend Oregon, a most memorable experience.  

We had an amazing gourmet lunch 5 miles down the river, saw Osprey diving from the sky and pulling large trout out of the river with their huge tallons, as well as at least two dozen other indigenous birds and water foul, and floated down the river viewing the beautiful valley and volcanic cliffs of Central Oregon.

I highly recommend this trip with Dan as a your guide for first timers or seasoned veterans,or any one that appreciates the awesome beauty of nature.

I am looking forward to my next trip back to Oregon.  What beautiful country!
