Story

Flydragon Design is a public art studio located in Cheyenne, Wyoming. We host a variety of themed painting sessions and creative activities for diverse groups of people in a relaxing, yet energetic atmosphere.

We invite you to experience creating art through guided sessions, or personal studio time. Our sessions allow you to express your creativity by following a step by step process to create a painting you love. We never critique or judge your piece. We guide you through the painting process, but we do not teach art or offer art "classes". Our mission is to provide a fun, relaxing venue to express individual creativity regardless of artist skill, and release the stresses of the day.

Come in, sit down, relax….and release your inner chaos!

In general, we are open from noon until 9 pm. In the event we have no one reserved for a seat, we close at 6 pm. We are available any day of the week for private parties!

Artistic skills not required! I am not an artistic person, I'm more of a take out the ruler and draw straight lines type of person. It is so much fun for someone like me with no artistic talent to go to the studio, and three hours later come out with a painting that other people recognized as what I intended, be it a zebra or an evening landscape or a cherry blossom tree. I also enjoy that she offers classes beyond just paintings; there are ceramics, glass fusing, papermaking, jewelry classes. The owner Christina is a very approachale lady, who does her best to make sure everyone is having fun. I have attended over a dozen classes, and convinced several friends and co-workers to give it a try as well.

This place is magic where art happens. Has space for artist to rent & every kind of art class you can imagine.  Great building. A great art addition to Cheyenne.

WOW!  WOW! WOW!  This was sooo much fun.  I have been to some other places in town, but this one was by far the best.  Chris was patient, and very helpful, and even though we went over our time, she did not rush us, and she was still so kind.  She made us cheese and crackers, and the whole team I went with couldn't stop saying how we couldnt wait to go back next time and were fighting over what we should paint.  If your looking for  date night, a girls night, or a team building activity...LOOK NO MORE!!!!!  I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
