Story

Flying Colors Painting Co specializes in professional re-painting for residential and commercial properties throughout Thurston County.

We began in 1980 with a vision to provide professional painting services. Since then, we’ve become the largest residential re-painting company in Thurston County, and we’ve been voted Best of South Sound from 2012 to 2015. Thank you!

Dustin Wilson, founder of Flying Colors Painting Company, doesn't have a single white wall in his home. He began painting in 1980, finding that it allowed him to do two of his favorite things—feed his family and serve his community. His reputation for honesty and excellence quickly established Flying Colors as the premier painting company in the South Sound.

Recently had my 1986-era home painted and am completely satisfied with the project from start to finish. The estimate was spot-on by Dan and the crew was very professional and very courteous with a number of small needs that cropped up during the project addressed on-site along with suggestions by Jesus, their project lead.

Flying Colors did a whole house painting job for us and we had a great experience throughout the job. Carl was very detail oriented and provided us a precise estimate, as well as a range of recommendations and reasoned explanations for each. The painters (Chris, Richard, Mike and others) were extremely responsive to our questions and they offered several design options. They clearly take their craft seriously and wanted to make sure we got what we wanted in terms of colors. I considered them to be more like artists than painters because of their attention to detail. We had to work around the weather in (April and May in the PNW!), but Flying Colors was always good at communicating when and whether they'd be at the site or not. I appreciate a company that shows up and does the job when they say they will. Thanks, guys!

This company was GREAT!  I would HIGHLY recommend them.  We have worked with a number of contractors in the greater Olympia, WA area...this company knows how to do it right.  Thank you to Carl, Murph, Lynn and Tyler!!!!!  We are beyond happy with the work you did!

We had our Victorian style farmhouse repainted by Flying Colors in summer 2014.  They had a complicated 5 color scheme to redo after 15 years of weathering.  They did not a good but a GREAT job, on budget, and a day early on time.  We have recommended them to several of our friends.  We will only get our work done by them in the future

This company painted two homes for my family. They sprayed the garage without covering vents and over sprayed property inside my garage. My Harley and my Truck. It took me about 5 hours to get most of the paint off. The company reimbursed 500.00 for my trouble. Then about a year later some flaws (bubbles) began to show up on both homes painted.  I contacted the company and was told that the office would call and schedule an appointment. No one ever called. Even though I was not pleased with this, I called again to allow them to come out and bid on another project and was again told that the office would schedule an appointment. Again, never called.   My experience with them has not been good due to not returning calls, lack of follow through and no attempt to come out and correct flaws.
