Mike McMahon, a local Savannahian, opened "The Fish" in 2007. Mike has worked in the seafood restaurant business all his life. He is continuing to bring Savannah the best of local traditional flavors in a relaxed atmosphere. "The Fish" is the place to come and enjoy yourself with great food, great drinks, and great company. Our secret? It's not that big of one, to be honest. Savannah is known for its vast abundance of tasty local seafood, which is delivered to our kitchen daily and expertly prepared. Fresh Wild Georgia Shrimp, Mahi Mahi, Flounder and Oysters are just a few of the delicacies of the Atlantic Ocean that you will find on our menu each and every day. Looking for a little more turf than surf? “The Fish” has you covered with a tasty selection of landlubber treats, including Chicken Alfredo on Penne, Big Beefy Burgers, Chicken Fingers and the World’s Greatest Wings. Our full service bar offers more than fifteen varieties of icy cold craft beer, as well as a complete selection of domestic beer, wine and refreshing cocktails. The Flying Fish Bar & Grill is located on beautiful Wilmington Island, which is just minutes from downtown Savannah and the beach.
