After getting my smog test done here, it's easy to see why Folsom Smog Test Only has been on the Folsom Telegraph's "Best of the Best" list for 5 of the last 6 years. 

It all starts with price. They beat the other guys by $10-20 with coupon! For that reason alone, it's hard to justify going anywhere else, because the end result of a smog test is the same, right? (Need a hint on why it's cheaper here? Location, location, location. I for one am glad they pass the savings on to the customer.)

It only goes up from there though, thanks to their knowledge and helpfulness. My car failed the first time due to some small timing problem, and I was able to quickly get it repaired thanks to the clear and concise description of the error I got from the smog-tech. No Test-Only facility can provide a full diagnosis, but no other place was ever as helpful in describing the issue to me so I could get the diagnosis done independently.

To top it off, the folks that run this facility are super friendly! I have no idea what some other reviewers are talking about when they say they had a bad experience. Both times I went in, I was greeted with a smile, got to enjoy some delightful conversation while my car was being tested, and was treated in a fair and friendly manner. 

Price, knowledge, and a friendly attitude make Folsom Smog Test Only the best smog-test facility I've ever been to!

A very good experience. Will come back again. Smog Check for my Prius was done within 30 minutes.
