Terrible produce. Terrible selection.  ALWAYS ten minute minimum in check out. I just watched the manager walk up to a register with six people in line, transfer the cashier to an adjacent register,  then walk away. Even if there is some corporate excuse for this nonsense,  it looks like TERRIBLE customer service.  If there are 3 people in each line, open every register.  Period. 

Businesses that refuse to fully staff their establishments deserve to be fined cruel amounts.  Staff the store.  Hire the community.  Lower unemployment numbers.   Then, more people in the community can afford more and better products,and your store makes more money. 

If you want to be IN the community,  you should be a PART OF the community...not just a leech.

Timing is everything at this Food Lion.  Shop midmorning and you can be in and out in no time.  Otherwise,  bring a book to read while you wait. Some of the staff are friendly but don't expect the kind of customer service you get at Publix. I have been a customer since 2001 and have seen the place improve in many ways. I frequently score great deals on meat and ice cream  (what more does one need? Ha ha) but wish they would give the cleanliness of the parking lot higher priority. Prices and location mean I will continue to be a regular there.

Good. Sometimes very slow.. Don't mind waiting always but seems to be a pattern. Friendly staff. Low prices. Assortment of options.
